Trekking permit for Restricted Areas of Nepal
Special trekking permits are required to visit designated areas of Nepal and are issued by the Department of Immigration. These designated areas are open only for group trekkers. Permits should only be acquired through registered trekking agencies in Nepal. Resident diplomats are accepted from this type of permit. Read the following information for more details.

Note: a. to get a group trekking permit an application form with other relevant documents should be submitted through any registered trekking agency of Nepal. b. Trekking fee can be paid in Nepalese currency: Notwithstanding anything written in above, the Indian citizen can pay in Nepalese currency equivalent to US Dollars.

Ø  Annapurna and Manaslu conservation areas permits fees can be paid either in Kathmandu or in Pokhara if you want to pay on the spot than the cost would be double than normal.
Ø  All the national park fees can be paid either in Kathmandu or on the park entrance point.
Ø  Children under 10 years are free but need at least one identification card.
Ø  Trekker’s information management system TIM’s card can be paid in Kathmandu.
Ø  All the special permits has to be prepared in department of immigration of Nepal with fixed travel date. And also individual trekkers can’t get permits by themselves they have to go through registered trekking agencies under Nepal Government. 
Ø  Once you got a permits and submit inside the park then you can’t change it you can’t extend it. So all the permits are non-transformable non-refundable and extendable. 

Ø  Some of the park entry fees like only for a single day entry it means you can’t stay overnight in Chitwan national park.

BURIAL RITUALS OF LO MANTHANG (MUSTANG IN NEPAL)

Hidden inside a narrow cave of just five feet high and six feet deep in the Lo Manthang (Mustang) region was a tomb which was formed by digging a shaft into the ground and then expanding it into a chamber. Located at Samdzong in Upper Mustang , the shaft tomb was just one among many of such mortuary caves veiled in the mystical kingdom. In 1987, when a tunnel was being built for a small-scale hydroelectric project in Chokhopani in Mustang, a burial cave was exposed by accident.
