The lower elevated trekking trail Annapurna Panorama offers the picturesque mountain views. Moreover, it is a wonderful opportunity to witness the beauty of the Annapurna region with through a short trek. This is one of the lower elevation treks that we offer rising to only 3210.

The trek to Ghorepani - Poon Hill (Pun Hill) which is located in Annapurna region, is truly called as all the best of the trekking in Nepal. The trek offers the spectacular mountain scenery along with charming villages inhabited particularly by the Gurungs & Magars, dense rhododendron forests full of birds and deep sub-tropical valleys, all set below the Annapurna with the picturesque peak of Machhapuchhare (Fishtail Peak) dominating the skyline. One of the important highlights of this trip is to make a climb on Poon Hill, possibly the most spectacular landscape on Earth. When the sun rises, it touches the snow-capped summits the Himalayan giants, Dhaulagiri (8,167m) and Annapurna (8,091m) along with a maze of other peaks, there gradually appear, just like magic that your eye could not believe.Besides, during the journey, you are rewarded by the natural beauties in your each & every footstep.

Program Itinerary:
Day 01: Arrivals in Kathmandu airport receipt and transfer to Hotel O/N Kathmandu.
Day 02: Sightseeing Kathmandu valley late evening trek briefing O/N Hotel.
Day 03: Drive to Pokhara and transfer to Hotel O/N Pokhara (5-6 hours drive)
Day 04: Drive to Nayapul (1 hour) and Trek to Thikhedunga (1480m) O/N Lodge
Day 05: Trek to Ghorepani (2860m) O/N Lodge, (4-5 hours)
Day 06: Early Morning walk up to Poon Hill 3200m (1 hour) for sunrise view and walk back to lodge after breakfast trek to Tadapani (2630m) O/N Lodge (5-6 hours)
Day 07: Trek to Ghandruk (1940m) O/N Lodge (Ghandruk is biggest Gurung village in this area) (3-4 hours)
Day 08: Trek to Pothana (1890m) 5-6hours overnight at Lodge.
Day 09: Trek to Phedi via Dhampus and drive back to Pokhara overnight at Pokhara Hotel.
Day 10: Sightseeing in Pokhara city overnight at Pokhara Hotel.
Day 11: Flight back to Kathmandu overnight at Hotel Kathmandu.
Day 12: Final departure to your homeland country and see off!!!

BURIAL RITUALS OF LO MANTHANG (MUSTANG IN NEPAL)

Hidden inside a narrow cave of just five feet high and six feet deep in the Lo Manthang (Mustang) region was a tomb which was formed by digging a shaft into the ground and then expanding it into a chamber. Located at Samdzong in Upper Mustang , the shaft tomb was just one among many of such mortuary caves veiled in the mystical kingdom. In 1987, when a tunnel was being built for a small-scale hydroelectric project in Chokhopani in Mustang, a burial cave was exposed by accident. The project in fact led to a distinct discovery of 2,000 to 3,000-year-old human corpses.
